Head Chef (Job code: 10708)
Our client based on an established Wine Estate in Stellenbosch is seeking to employ an enthusiastic, creative, hands-on Head Chef to deliver exceptional levels of cuisine and service in a busy and fast paced working environment.
Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, duties and responsibilities of the position include successful creation and implementation of seasonal and function menus, staff training, stock control and ordering, processing of invoices, accurate food cost control, hygiene maintenance, maintenance of kitchen equipment and scheduling of staff shifts.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience as a Head Chef in previous positions, reside within close proximity to Stellenbosch and have verifiable, contactable references. Salary R 18 000 - R 20 000
